South Shore woman on a mission to deliver St. Michael’s charms to every police department in Massachusetts
KINGSTON, Mass. – A South Shore woman is on a mission to deliver St. Michael’s charms to every police department in Massachusetts.
According to a report by Boston 25 News, Marybeth Papetti of Kingston started this initiative to show support for law enforcement officers who put their lives on the line every day to protect their communities.
St. Michael is known as the patron saint of law enforcement, and the charms she is delivering are meant to provide protection and comfort to the officers. Papetti began this project in honor of her late father, who was a police officer.
So far, she has already visited several police departments and plans to continue until she has reached every department in the state. The response from police officers has been overwhelmingly positive, with many expressing their gratitude for the thoughtful gesture.
Papetti’s dedication to supporting law enforcement is truly inspiring, and her efforts are a shining example of how small acts of kindness can make a big impact.
