Antioch man killed in San Francisco hit-and-run

SAN FRANCISCO – A man from Antioch died early Tuesday morning in a hit-and-run in San Francisco, according to police.

The incident occurred around 1:30 a.m. on the 800 block of Franklin Street, near the intersection of Turk Street.

San Francisco police said that the victim was a 38-year-old man from Antioch, but did not release his name.

The suspect vehicle, described as a white sedan, fled the scene after hitting the man. Police are still searching for the driver.

The police are asking anyone with information about the hit-and-run to contact the San Francisco Police Department.

This marks the latest tragedy in a string of hit-and-run incidents in the Bay Area. Local authorities are urging drivers to stay vigilant and report any suspicious activity on the road.
