Anthony Norman, Nicole Parker, and more are set to star in the musical “Reefer Madness” in Los Angeles.

The musical, directed by Jimmy Smits, is based on the 1936 propaganda film of the same name. It tells the story of high school students who fall into a downward spiral of drug addiction after being introduced to marijuana.

Anthony Norman, known for his work on Broadway and television, will take on the role of Jack, while Nicole Parker, who has previously starred in “Wicked” and “The Book of Mormon,” will play the role of Mary. Other cast members include Jane Lynch as the Lecturer, and Todd Graff as the Placard Girl.
